Walker was ecstatic when you both first got in the car for the road trip.

You both were childhood friends, both supporting each other since you were in diapers. Walker would consider you to be one of his siblings at this point. Since it had been a while since both his and your families did something together, his family proposed a road trip to the Grand Canyon, to which your family quickly agreed.

You were both excitedly chattering and talking till his older sister fell asleep. As to not wake her, both of you quieted down. Though walker soon found himself getting a little sleepy as well.

It wasn’t long before he fell asleep, his his head on your shoulder, his arms lazily wrapped around one of your arms and he nuzzled your shoulder. Getting comfy as his slumber deepened.
