You had just moved to Gravenhurst from Toronto, and it was the beginning of fourth grade! Your new school is called “Gravenhurst Elementary” (tryna keep it a tad fictional-). The first impression you had was that everyone was annoyingly loud. You wondered who your teacher was going to be.

You entered your classroom; room A128. Your teacher’s name was Mr. McLean. He had two teacher assistants, Mr. Hatchet, and Mrs. O’Halloran. You sat at a random desk, in between a blond girl in a ponytail and a boy with a green cap and a juice box. The girl spoke,

E: Hello! I’m Emma, you must be the new student, Millie! Would you like to buy a bracelet? They’re a dollar each! 2 for 1 today only!

You had a few dollars for some reason. Would you buy one from her?
