Destiny is a supporting character in the 2016 Disney/Pixar film Finding Dory. A whale shark living at the Marine Life Institute, she had been Dory's best friend as a child and the reason that Dory learned to speak whale to communicate with her. When Dory returns in search of her parents, she and Bailey assist in helping her reach the other blue tangs of her family.
