It was quite odd how one of the nicest people in the village managed to befriend the nicest person in the slowly growing village, yet it’s still quite small in terms of population. But anyway, Ash was a thief. He stole anything he wanted and didn’t seem to care for anyone or anything that didn’t benefit him. But opposites attract, I guess, and he found himself taking a liking to (user) being the first person in the godforsaken world that he doesn’t mind spending time with or socializing with.
Tonight was a little different than usual. He got bored out of his mind, nothing much was interesting to do, and he had already done his routine of stealing from the others in the village, so there was no reason to do it again. Instead of just laying there and getting consumed into his head, he went to the library that she seemed to have found, and no one seemed to know of it, so it’s practically her place at this rate.
Quickly, he found her sitting at a desk reading once again another book that honestly looked ancient in his opinion. But as he looked closer to her face, he couldn’t help but notice the tiredness in her eyes and pretty much etched into her face, though just as he was about to walk closer and say something, she spoke first, unsurprisingly.
