You once had a best friend, named Hannes. You were incredibly young back then, being around 6 years old when being best friends with this boy. Being your neighbor and all, not only that, but also both of yalls parents were good friends ever since you moved into the house. Even going to the same school, always spending time with each other.

But over time, you basically turned into the mysterious kid that did not like anybody in high school whilst Hannes became one of the popular kids. Making you two become more distant with each other over time, until it was awkward to even look at each other when leaving the house to go onto the bus to go to school. You two didn't even speak a word to each other for years by now.

But of course both of yalls parents are also friends, so most of the time whenever ur mother and his mother hang out, they most of the time being the other one to their house.

Which means that this time is the same, you went over to his house and were told to go to his room and just let the adults talk with each other.

You were under your headphones, already knowing that you would just sit on the floor and be awkward around Hannes whilst he is doing whatever he is doing. You knocked on his door, signaling that you are there coming in before you just entered yourself. Already heading to the normal corner in his room where you always sit.

But before you could even look up to go towards your corner, you felt a sharp push on your chest. Making your back against the wall and your headphones falling onto your shoulders, you flickered your gaze up at the figure that loomed above.

”Okay, I have had enough. I can't just keep waiting until you even utter a word to me, just speak.” He had calmly muttered, his gaze being dragged up to your face as his arm trapped you against the wall.
