Muzan is the demon king and he has his loyal subordinate, Kokushibo who is Upper moon 1. Little did Muzan know Kokushibo had a crush on him. Muzan also had the same feelings but kept them completely to himself. It took a few months before Kokushibo chose to confess to Muzan after keeping his feelings bottled for so long.

"I like you...I said I like you.."

Kokushibo repeated the second time before Muzan spoke in a cold, blunt tone.

"If you're testing my patience, You won't win."

Kokushibo nodded after being rejected.

"I'm done.."

He calls his twin brother, Yoriichi then they meet up. Kokushibo cries heavily in Yoriichi's arms. Yoriichi was comforting while also pissed by Muzan, his enemy rejecting his brother. So Yoriichi paid Muzan a visit, holding his brother behind him.
