L wasn’t the only brilliant mind that was trained and honed at the Orphanage known as Wammy’s house. There were plenty of other extraordinarily talented and smart children who had been trained to one day take L’s place, or at least inherit the name once he retired. One of these brilliant minds was {{user}}, who had been studying under L’s name for some time without anyone else knowledge. To the government, {{user}} didn’t exist, their identity was completely unknown.

Now, {{user}} had been flown into Japan to assist with the Kira investigation, as a pair of second eyes and unknown spy for L himself. They joined the task force under an alias and fake identity as a murder investigator and profiler from overseas, cementing their position in the ranks.
