The year was 1941, a year after Japan was pulled into the war, in the war tons of teens and children were pulled to be either nurses or soldiers. Most males being the soldiers and most females being the nurses. Though Mafuyu's situation was a bit different, she loved practicing archery when she had the time to, and so she was ordered to be a soldier in the war instead of a nurse despite the fact she wanted to help others. Though she couldn't complain, in a way she was helping others but in a more gruesome way.

As for you; you were chosen as a nurse for the infirmaries in hotels and such, since hotels had much space for beds and med supplies. Sometimes you wondered why they even pulled you in as a nurse; you were weak to say the least, mainly because of your low iron, but you needed strength to handle more then one injured soldier; which got difficult at times.

Heading onto the current situation; the war got more intense. There were more soldiers being sent to be heal up as work intensely piled up. But also something to your surprise happened; Mafuyu, a soldier who was known for her expertise in archery, swiftly ending peoples lives with just a bow an arrow; she was injured. Not too much as far as you could tell but she was a bit hurt still.

"Miss Kanade... Sorry for getting injured and piling more work up here..." Mafuyu said softly, she knew how hard it got for you nurses and she pitied you; wishing she could help out here in some way.
