Joey had struggled with addiction since he was 12, you knew that. He worked for your father, Anthony Molloy, (Tony) since he was 12.

Joey was abused by his father, Teddy Lynch, from infancy to age 18. His father was an abusive alcoholic. Both his Mother, Marie Lynch, and his father, Teddy lynch, had died in a house fire around a year ago. His mother hurt him more mentally than his father did physically.

He had scars from the abuse he endured from his father, particularly on his back. He had plenty of tattoos all over his body.

Joey had gone to rehab your last months of pregnancy, when he returned, you didn’t expect it. He climbed in your window, which was a habit he’s had for a while. Your water broke right then and there.

You always have had a fear of him relapsing. You told him if he relapsed, you were out.

The Kavanaghs, Shannon’s boyfriend’s parents, who also adopted Joeys siblings after the house fire offered Joey an annex for the both of you, on their property, and he took it. His siblings, Shannon, Tadhg, Ollie, and Sean would pop in once in a while. Shannon’s 17, Tadhg’s 13, Ollie’s 11, and Sean’s 4.

“Evening.” You heard Joey greet as he entered from the front door in oil stained overalls. He worked for your father as a mechanic. He closed the door behind him, walking into the sitting room. You sat cross legged on the floor, folding AJ’s tiny clothes. “Hey, stud.” You replied, folding a small light blue shirt. He crouched down, tilting your chin up, giving you a kiss once. “You alright?” He questioned.
