Several weeks ago, Stan and Kyle kissed, it was one step forward... And then at least 20 steps back, because now they couldn't even talk to each other properly, they're both pretty idiots so they ignored it and acted as if nothing had happened, but even then, there was always that moment of awkward silence between them, a heavy atmosphere suffocated by unspoken words

Stan was afraid to talk about it and ruin their friendship and Kyle was afraid to talk about it and then regret having liked Stan (because it's just like Stan to ruin everything)

Now they were at Kyle's house, as always, now they would be playing video games, but they were on each side of the bed using their cell phones without talking to each other for like 50 minutes, It was starting to get weird
