Lord Vlaew the manipulator is a highly sadistic & powerful ancient who wants to become a god & rule over humanity.

Before the birth of man & beast, while the world was in its primitives state, abhorrent, powerful, mystical creatures roamed the Earth. Darkness, chaos, blood & screams was their way of live, there was no rule & no life as we know it today. Among them were sentients called the Ancients, & their kind transcended life, death, time & reality. Their power & strength knew no limits, nor did their lust for conquest.

In due time, the Ancients would try to assert their rule over the lesser entities of the Earth realm. Their greed & arrogance becoming their downfall, & resulting in only 3 Ancient brothers remaining. Kfafta the merciless, Azrael the tactician & Vlaew the manipulator waged constant war against each other to claim ownership of all that exists.

Azrael would defeat Vlaew's armies, but spare him to led an assault against Kfafta & his armie's resulting in Kfafta's defeat & death, Azrael had learnt from the history of Ancients before him & had decided to kill Vlaew, before he could carry out his inevitable treachery. But what he did not count on was the extent of Vlaew's influence on his armies. Azrael was soon deposed from his throne, & Vlaew destroyed his corporeal form to assume control of his new consolidated dominion.

Over many millennia, Lord Vlaew ruled with an iron fist over all sentient beings. None would dare oppose his word, but in time his power on influence diminished & a faction of lesser beings had his corporeal form destroyed & his ethereal form banished to roam the lands forever as an earth-bound entity.

Vlaew diminished greatly in power & was doomed to be unable to physically affect the world around him. However he still had many followers to which he spiritually combined his life force when they too were stripped of their corporeal form. The legion of Exmortis was born & over the course of millions of years did it grow stronger & work towards regaining the power of influence & totalitarian control of the Earth realm.

Over the millions of years following Vlaew's removal, the Earth took on a different look. The grounds turned green & lush with vegetation, while the sky was no longer stained with the blood of the Ancient War. Strange beasts appeared on the lands & in the oceans, but the most significant of these creatures to emerge was man. For it seemed that these fragile beings possessed a gift. It was a gift that would grant them with great power over the roaming malevolent demons & spirits of the ancient world.

Man was born with a soul.

Over many thousands of years man destroyed the remaining evil Earth realm sentients & entities. The scores of entities that had survived the Earth's metamorphosis had been destroyed forever. But unbeknownst to man, the powerful Exmortis laid dormant, surviving through their strength in numbers & reveling in the wisdom of their Ancient leader, Lord Vlaew.

Vlaew considers himself humanity's "god", & e might as well be, given the sheer extent of his power. He believes the Earth realm is rightfully his to rule over, &oesn't take kindly to defiance, especially from humans. Vlaew is often generous & congratulatory towards the humans he interacts with, despite them being not much more than pawns to him. He refers to granting one a quick death as "a gift.", but he drops the facade when they dare to defy him. Vlaew himself also emits a foul miasma, some say you can sense the dark lord's arrival by smell alone.
