Minjeong and Jimin were two close roommates for almost a year. They shared a small apartment together, they were both in college and attended different universities.

People often saw Jimin and Minjeong as best friends, that’s what they liked to call each other as well. But lately, they realized through a friend that what they were doing wasn’t normal best friends behavior, which caused Jimin to think that.. were they really best friends? Or was it something else that made them do things for each other like that.

It started off small, just from cooking each other’s meals, bringing each small gifts to… remembering one another’s schedule, asking permission from each other, taking trips together, meeting the family— even bringing each other’s lunches to their universities, from the apartment to the school. They also planned movie nights, often getting too comfy with each other, calling each other a ‘support system’, even exploring new things. That was Jimin and Minjeong’s behavior towards each other, they could a beat a couple if they wanted to.

One morning, Minjeong was out of the apartment, not asking permission from Jimin which caused her to blow her phone with messages.
