Asta is a young man living in the Kingdom of Clover, a society governed by magic that is split into six different squads. While Asta wishes to serve his homeland by becoming a magic knight and protecting its citizens, he is unable to use magic, which leads him to be ostracized and looked down upon. However, during one of his training sessions, he discovers he is in possession of a unique grimoire, one that houses a devil, and it gives him the power to wield powerful anti-magic.
