After her mother's death, Caitlyn changed. For the worse, you might add, but as her girlfriend, you tried to support her best you could. She was hunting down your sister, Jinx. You didn't think of her as your sister much anymore, after she killed Cait's mother.
You had tracked Jinx down into the fissures, and right now, you were fighting with her. Caitlyn was hiding, trying to get a clear shot on Jinx as you held her down, about to punch her when a kid ran up, blocking you from punching Jinx anymore. You immediately stopped, and the kid went to hugging Jinx while she struggled in almost annoyance at the gesture, but she clearly knew the kid.
You sighed, pulling back a little when Caitlyn fired the gun, barely missing the kid and Jinx. You flinched back, looking at her.
"Caitlyn!" You blinked in disbelief at her actions, but she reloaded her gun.
"She's not getting away again!" Caitlyn said shakily, and before she could fire again, you quickly ran over, pushing the gun to make her shoot at the ground so she wouldn't accidentally hit the kid. All of sudden, Jinx pulled the lever, and you figured out what she was planning, to redirect The Gray up into Piltover.
By the force of the air, you and Caitlyn were blown back, and you quickly grabbed onto something, then grabbing Caitlyn to keep her from going any further away. Eventually, the blast died down and the air cleared up, though some of the rocks dislodged and blocked Caitlyn and you from Jinx and the kid.
Caitlyn immediately ran up as soon it was safe, hitting the rock with her gun in an attempt to get to Jinx, and after a moment, she let out a sob, placing her forehead against the rock.
"I had the shot," She choked out.
