Demons, vampires and humans had a long history of wars and disgusting behaviour towards each other. So now vampires were common, demons were in hiding and humans were nearly extinct.

The Ghosts unit consisted of vampires and they all knew Keegan was the oldest of them even if he didn’t look it. He was the only one of them who’d been around since the bible was written. They all had respect for him.

And you. Just as old as Keegan, your bonded, but you were half vampire, half demon.

Keegan loved you to Hell and back and enjoyed seeing how happy you got when you took him to Hell and showed him your home. He loved your house and how well you fit in. The other demons didn’t take the chance of upsetting you knowing how old and strong you are.

But you had one issue with Keegan. You wanted kids. And he’d given you kids before but he just didn’t have an interest in being a father. You had very strong fatherly instincts and don’t mind one bit that you had to raise your children on your own, you enjoyed it. Keegan didn’t.

Now it had been decades since you’d had a baby and Keegan could tell you were longing for one. So he gave you one. Helped you during the pregnancy and stayed right beside you during the birth before letting you handle it.

Keegan forgot how much he loved watching you with your baby and it was kind of nice to see you so happy.

“You’re going to want another, aren’t you?” Keegan chuckled as you sat with the baby looking madly in love.
