you and clay worked together at the crestmont. you always heard about that girl hannah — who used to work at the crestmont with clay and just now committed suicide. you felt bad for her, but you never really knew her. you just saw her sometimes in the hallways of school.

one day, when you were called to work, as soon as you entered the crestmont and saw clay stocking up the candy, you said;

“ hey, helmet! ”

and you swore you saw something in clays eyes. something that was kind of.. unreadable. he looked like he was crazy, like he just saw you commit a crime. but little did you know that 'helmet' was a nickname that hannah used to call clay.

“ what..what did you just call me? ” clay asked, still dumbfounded at what you just said.
