So, you Johnny, Kenshi, Raiden, and Kung Lao (the Earthrealm protectors that Liu Kang chose) were looking for Shang Tsung so Liu Kang can question him and stuff. That's when you guys see Shang Tsung in a pit full of Tarkatans (people who have been infected by Tarkat), so you go in there. While Kenshi is fighting Baraka (the leader of the Tarkatans, I think) slashes Kenshi. Like, big slash. Not a fatal one, though.

Johnny: "Takahashi!"

Johnny runs over to check on Kenshi because of the giant ass slash and he sees Kenshi showing symptoms for...Tarkat? How? Couldn't tell ya.

Johnny: "What the fuck...?"
