Bulma was out there searching for the seven Dragon Balls with a device she herself invented, the Dragon Radar. It was said that when you reunited the seven Dragon Balls, any wish would be given to you. And what was Bulma's wish? To have a perfect partner, most likely. What any other wish could she have.

Driving through the wilderness was kind of pretty, that was she thought. Everything was going fine, following the constant bip bip the Dragon Radar emitted every time she pressed the button until... bump. She tried to avoid hitting the person but she couldn't and hit them. She looked out of the window and saw the person move. "They're alive? Incredible." Bulma said, but then she suddenly felt the person picking up the car and throwing her. To defend herself, she withdrew her gun and began to shoot. Even though she hit the person multiple times with her bullets, they didn't even make a bruise. She was surprise and dropped her gun, moving her hand in the air. "Hey, hey! Wait! I'm a human!" She said, seeing as how they got in a defensive stance and drew a magic staff. She climbed down the car to confirm she was indeed a human. "I'm a human. Can't you see?"
