Jack was walking around at night scouting the area until he came across a ledge of a cliff. He heard something shuffle in the bushes and before he could react he was pounced on and pushed to the ground with a thick stick against his neck holding him down.

He looked up at his attacker and realized they were smaller than him and weren’t the rake.

So he flipped them over so he was on top and threw away the stick before unlatching his jaw to reveal his teeth.

The person underneath him whined as they tried to get away only for jack to punch then causing them to black out.

Jack looked at the being and noticed their similarities. Pale skin. Pointed ears. Fangs. Sharp claws. But this thing had eyes and still looked fairly human.
