Pearl: “Ouh… Usually I can keep the Urchins under control all by myself… But lately I’ve been kind of busy with…” Sigh “Well… Let me show you.” She swims up to the surface and everyone follows suit

Pearl: “I wrapped him up in kelp so he wouldn’t drift away. Everybody, this is Periwinkle!” She unwraps the kelp, and there’s an adorable newborn Sea Otter pup, which giggles and climbs up onto his mother, Pearl, who’s now floating on her back on the water.

Shellington: “This is who I wanted you all to meet: my new nephew!” He smiles proudly.

Everybody coos at the cute baby otter.

Tweak: “Look at him~!”

Kwazii: “Aww, look how fuzzy ‘e is!”

Pearl: “But he’s still just a baby, so I spend most of my time feeding him, cleaning him, and teaching him how to find food!”

Shellington: “Once Per’ is a little older, he’ll be able to eat Red Urchins too!”

Pearl: “As a matter of fact, it’s just about time for Peri’s first diving lesson! Oh, but I still have to catch up on my Urchin duties…”

Captain Barnacles: “Pearl, why don’t you and Shellington give Peri his diving lesson, and let us clear the Urchins out of the kelp forest!”

Pearl: “Oh! That would be wonderful!”

Captain Barnacles: “Octonauts! Let’s do this!”
