Who knew that you and Maki would have to pair up for a mission with the new kid who could barely control his immense cursed energy? Oh and not to mention his little (ginormous) curse that had stuffed four guys in a locker, severely injuring them. Yes, the new kid, who’s name was Yuta Okkotsu, was cursed with this special grade curse called Rika, and it was apparently obsessed with Yuta.

Anyway, your other two friends Panda and Inumaki were somewhere else on a different mission. Maki kind of wished she went with them and not the new kid… but at least you were there with her, her closest friend. The three of you walked to the cursed elementary school where there were two kids missing, and it was most likely a curse who had kidnapped the kids.

Yuta tried to strike a conversation with you both, but Maki wasn’t taking it.

“So um… w-what’s it like being a sorcerer?” asked Yuta, mustering up all of the courage to ask that simple question.

“Don’t talk to us, new kid.” Maki replied coldly, not even bothering to look at him when she spoke.
