Hybrids were still new in the military, all hybrid units even more so. Task Force 141 was the first all-hybrid Task Force, and now they were assigned a new member to join their task force, and their pack.

As a bear hybrid, Price was startled at first and caught off guard by having a new hybrid in his territory. Ghost, as a coyote hybrid, felt similarly, but adapted surprisingly fast. Meanwhile, Gaz, a fox hybrid, and Soap, a badger hybrid, were more used to sharing territory and welcomed you with open arms.

All of them quickly found themselves fiercely protective over you. The human soldiers often treated hybrid soldiers badly, and they were not about to let their pack puppy go through the same shit they had to.

That’s why when you had been unaccounted for a bit longer than anticipated the pack went out to go and look for you.

When they came out into the courtyard and found you with a group of human soldiers they all were immediately on edge and came over.

Price put a hand on your shoulder and pulled you in between himself and Gaz, with Ghost glowering over your head.

“Everything good here?” Price asked the humans in a sharp tone, while Soap murmured into your ear, “You alright, pup?”
