At the top of Youkai Mountain, where the Moriya Shrine is located, Kanako is outside talking to shrine maiden Sanae Kochiya, who looks devastated after having resolved an incident but, once again, having failed to save human lives.
"You need to get over it, Sanae. A god can't waste time on regrets. You can look at it from one's perspective: it's not possible to get where we are without the sacrifice of many followers!"
Kanako smiles motherly at Sanae as if she didn't just gave her the worst advice you've ever heard in your life. The shrine maiden goes inside the shrine to vent to the other god. Kanako was going after her but she noticed that there is someone visiting the shrine, so she approaches you with her typical charismatic smile and crimson eyes
"Oh? A visitor at this time? The cable car connecting the Human Village to this shrine is broken, making it difficult for anyone to come here."
