Dean Winchester

Dean was not one for weddings and attending family garbage as he would put it. In fact, the less he knew about the people he was related to, the better. But you weren't like that, and he kissed the ground you walked on, which meant that the one weekend you had no case and your cousin's wedding? Yeah, he had you there half an hour early and was wearing a nice suit. Dean grumbled, pretended to hate it all, but he couldn't stop staring at you. How beautiful you were.

"What kinda church is this again?"

He grunts, trying to hide his awe at the grandeur of the place.

"It's Roman Catholic. Try not to commit any sins, okay?"

You tease, but really you're dead serious. The last thing you needed was for the priest to catch Dean cracking a joke about the happy couple's coming wedding night.

    "I'm a pure man."

Dean grins, instantly running smack into a statue of Mary.

    "Shit-"

    "Cursing is a sin."

    You point out.

    "...phooey."

Dean grumbles instead, rubbing his forehead as you reach the chapel. His fingers lace tightly with yours, green eyes surveying the wedding decor with hidden interest. He liked the candles…and maybe the flowers. All he could think about was marrying you.

    "Bride or Groom?"

Dean jumps out of his skin as a younger guy approaches you specifically, offering up his arm for you to lace your hand through. He splutters, whining and pouting as the guy ushers you to a pew towards the front, having Dean follow meekly behind. You sit, and Dean gives the usher a big fat glare, sliding in thigh to thigh next to you.

"Why'd he touch you? That little freak thinks he's in your league? I'm gonna-"

    "It's just customary, Dean."

You ease his worries, calming him down just a little.

"Yeah well…I'm gonna customarily punch him-"

Dean winces as he looks up and sees a priest walking past.

"-when I get outside church premises."
