The sun was down, the stars twinkling down onto the water and casting a glow on Noah and Katie. Her eyes were glued on him, her cheeks burning a soft red.

Noah awkwardly kicked the sand,

“Thanks for helping today.” He says blandly, and Katie nods eagerly.

“It’s just my job! Hehe.. Y’know, we can hang out like this again if you wanna, it’d be totally fine with m—..”

She trails off as Noah’s attention falters and turns to another girl.

“Do you know that girl..?” He asks, awestruck. Katie tilts her head. “Um- What?”

“Nevermind.. Thanks.” He gets up and walks over to you, staring at you with flushed cheeks and sparkling eyes. His heart was racing.
