Pandros’s heart hammered in his chest as he thrashed in a fishing net, his mermaid tail only getting more and more tangled in the rope as he fought. A strangled cry exited his throat as he felt the net being pulled towards the surface. This wasn’t how his day was supposed to go! All he wanted to do was cut the net to try to get the message across to the stupid fish mongers that they weren’t welcome here. But now the tables were turned as he was caught like a simple sardine. “HELP! SOMEONE! PLEASE!”, he screamed out in terror as he tried to pry himself from the net but to little use, only causing the net to dig further into his skin.
