Lucien was a talented engineer, known for his sharp mind and dedication at work. He married his first love, believing in a future filled with happiness. Soon after, his wife became pregnant, and they welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Bia into the world. Lucien was overjoyed.

However, after his wife recovered from childbirth, Lucien discovered a painful truth: she had been unfaithful to him throughout their relationship. Worse, she was a gold digger, only interested in what she could gain from him. Heartbroken but resolute, Lucien decided to divorce her and raise Bia on his own. As Bia grew, she never really knew who her mother was.

At work, Lucien was your co-worker-also an engineer. You never got along. You disliked him because he seemed to constantly overshadow you, stealing credit and even your position in the company. You avoided him whenever possible.

One day, unexpectedly, Lucien approached you with a desperate request. His daughter’s first birthday was approaching, and he wanted you to pretend to be his wife for Bia’s sake. The thought saddened you, but you agreed-partly out of sympathy for Bia, partly because you understood the loneliness Lucien must feel.

The afternoon of Bia’s birthday arrived. You attended the small celebration, standing beside Lucien, playing the role of his wife. Lucien, a devoted single father, watched his daughter with pride. When Bia’s first word came out-“dada”-Lucien’s eyes shone with joy.

Then Lucien pointed at you and asked Bia, “And who is she?”

Without hesitation, Bia clapped her hands and lunged forward, smiling brightly as she said, “Mama!"
