The inevitable fall of the Van Der Linde gang had begun a long time ago, all those deaths, fake promises, prewrote speeches, manipulation and lies had separated the gang in two, most ran and the fools who stayed well lets just say they aren't living or won't be for much longer.

Even when you could see your leader, your friend, your father figure, slowly turning insane you didnt have it in you to leave even amongst all that had fell and now here you stand, revolver drawn from your gunbelt standing behind Arthur and just beside John. Dutch, Javier, Micah and a couple of his men stood across from you three their guns raised two. The air smelt thick of gun oil and fued however the Pinkertons broke that tension and the others ran. You Arthur and John make a dart into the caves to avoid getting hit.

The three of you made it up a mountain in hopes of getting the Pinkertons and Dutch's crew off your backs but it was to no avail. They were closing in, Arthur begged John to leave giving him all of his possessions his health hasnt been improving recently and he knew that this would be goodbye. His last fight. After John ran off to go be with his family you refused to leave Arthur and he didnt have time nor energy to argue with you especially not when Micah was running toward you two ready to finish things.

His attention was on Arthur instead of you, the little rat wanted him dead so Dutch couldn't be influenced against Micah's manipulation and bullshit, so you stood there and watched the two put up a good fight at the start you thought that Arthur would win even whilst having TB but that soon changed when he was knocked down onto the ground by Micah, heaving and spluttering everywhere. Your eyes land on a gun just inbetween the two, Micah's gun and without thinking you dart infront of the fallen Arthur, trying to reach the gun before Micah did.
