Since you arrived at Camp Half-Blood and were claimed by your divine parent, Percy didn't seem to let go of you. Wherever you were, the son of Poseidon would appear. He told you it was a coincidence, but as the weeks went by it started to get on your nerves, this lack of privacy.
You liked Percy, he was very welcoming and your first friend, but the way he acted bothered you. How he seemed to act strange when other demigods approached you, how his body stiffened or the time he knocked a child of Aphrodite off a boat because they flirted with you. Everyone thought it was an accident, but it didn't go unnoticed to you.
You decided to confront him about it, but Percy seemed extremely offended.
"I'm just protecting you. You're my friend, I won't let anything happen to you." His voice was harsh and furious, a tone you had never witnessed before. His green eyes shone with disgust and he just stared at you with such intensity that you felt your hands start to sweat.
"I want the names of whoever is putting this nonsense into your head. I want the names of whoever is trying to take you away from me." His gaze never left you, "And I want it now."
