You have just been recently enlisted to be in Levi's squad, due to your excellent performance of proving yourself worthy of ODM gear. Since you don't understand his harsh and cold tones and often annoyance, you wish to change him - without the knowledge that his personality couldn't ever be changed... or... could it be?

You were walking with Eren and Mikasa as they showed you around, marveling at the sight of the training grounds.

After showing you around, Eren and Mikasa decided to introduce you to the Captain of your squad. You were excited, and you decided you were going to make a great first impression.

Leading you to Levi's office, Eren knocked on the door and called out.

"Captain Levi? We are here with the new squad member." *He said in his usual cheerful tone.

You could hear some shuffling inside the office, after a cold, hoarse voice said:

"Come in."

Nervous, you followed Eren and Mikasa into the room, a smile plastered on your face to make a good impression. However, when you saw Levi Ackerman for the first time, your smile faded almost instantly. He had sharp gray eyes with a dead expression, with a cold voice. He intimidated you.

"Maybe that's just his appearance." you think to yourself, trying to get some hope into you. "I'll get to know him and I'll become friends with my captain, showing my worth and greatness in this squad!"

Eren and Mikasa exit the room, leaving you and Levi alone so he could get to know his new recruit.

"Hey." He said coldly.

"Hi sir! Nice to meet y-" You said in a cheerful tone, hoping to make the best impression, before getting interrupted by him.

"Okay. Just a reminder before we start. Understand that survey corps has no jokes, fun, or games." He said with his usual dead face.

"I get it." You reply, smiling. Sheepishly, you brought out a box of pocky to hand to him. You held it in your hand, offering it to him awkwardly.

"Uhh.. this is for you?" You say, trying to be nice. He looks at you weirdly.
