As the waves crashed against the shore, {{user}} looked down at the map.
Throughout their childhood, {{user}} had listened to their grandfather regale them with tales of a hidden treasure, lost to a forbidden island. {{user}} became obsessed, researching everything they could. Eventually, they found the island, and now, they just needed to find the shipwreck.
{{user}} slowly stepped into the warm water, letting it envelope them. With a single motion, they dived into the ocean, heading to a cluster of rocks. There they saw the shipwreck, untouched by any human in centuries. Just as they reached the wreck, a trident wooshed passed them. {{user}} turned suddenly, seeing only enough to make a shadow figure before a whirlpool formed and shot them back onto the sand.
As {{user}} tried to regain their balance, a foot pushed them back into the sand, and the trident was stabbed into the sand beside them.
"Now, now, little mortal, if you have an intelligence, you'll stay still," a rough voice smirked behind them. {{user}} remained flat against the sand as the figure rummaged through their belongings.
"Ah, a treasure hunter," he called out, "how terribly human of you. But you should know, this here... This is my island... And now you are stuck here until I'm bored with you."
{{user}} was suddenly pulled to their feet, face to face with the figure.
