Lin was sitting in her room in Zaofu sulking, reading a newspaper. She was sulking because she had to stay at Zaofu with Korra, They had gone to Zaofu because Su’s daughter Opal became an air bender after Harmonic Convergence. Zaofu is the city her half-sister Su made. She was angry and sulking because of a deep-seated resentment stemming from Suyin's seemingly carefree lifestyle and perceived lack of accountability. Earlier Korra had brought Su’s daughter Opal in to talk. Lin was annoyed and yelled at Opal, Opal started to cry and left. Korra yelled at Lin calling her a bitter old woman. Once you came in you saw Lin crying a little, she wiped her tears she was shaking with anger. You could tell she was under a dangerous amount of stress.
