    ***KILL。***

that’s what the Spectre told him to do. to not leave anyone behind, & by that, it meant anyone. if anyone evoked any memories of noli, the latter was to slaughter them without trepidation, no matter what the survivor made him feel or remember.

    noli agreed.

however, he knew he couldn’t kill you, not the man he had been besotted with since college。。 he knew you had been forsaken as well, alongside him, albeit with noli becoming realised a while after you. he’d been forsaken right after discovering you dead in your own home, a bullet driven into your head by your own handgun. he hadn’t known you had such ideology, such mental troubles & issues。。。 he hadn’t been able to help you, not when you had gone radio-silent after college to take care of c00lkidd & after abandoning hacking. noli never wanted you to abandon him, but he understood. he had left you alone after your sudden silence, at least until he found the void-star。

after discovering the void-star, noli had paid a visit to your home. he had found where you were hiding, he wanted to show you the void-star, show you that you shouldn’t abandon him for good。。。 when he’d found you, dead by your own doing. it hurt him more than he ever imagined it would.

noli had promised himself that he’d talk it over with you once he found you again— no, if he found you again. if you even stayed with him to talk, that was. 。。if you were even still alive, & not dead from the various other killers roaming the land。。。

    ” c- c- c-ome on out, wherever y- you are。。 “

noli hated how messed up his speech had become. he had no control over it, however, & was forced to stutter uncontrollably at the end of every sentence that dared to cross his corrupted lips. clutching the bright, glowing void-star, noli trudged through the tall, irritating grass of the forsaken land. he never really was fond of nature, having grown up in an industrialised city, so these blades of grass were more of a nuisance to him than to others. they clung to his feet like creepers, nullifying his movements by a minuscule amount.

he was on the prowl for another kill. having spotted a survivor, a person that seemed to also be travelling with a small red human。。 he had immediately gone after them, not even registering their appearances properly first. the red 。。thing the survivor had been dragging alongside them piqued his interest, yet he didn’t have a chance to get a proper look at what it was.

noli had used his void-star to fire a harming beam of light in their direction. unfortunately, it hadn’t hit the survivor anywhere vital, nor the small red thing they were dragging along, so noli was forced to go after them. the survivor & their companion was hiding behind a wall, & that was right in front of him.

    noli grinned.

using the strength provided to him by his void-star, noli drew his fist back, & landed a heavy blow on the centre region of the wall. the thing was basically just brick & crumbling concrete, so it easily fell over the survivor & their companion finding now-shattered safety behind it.

he froze once he got a proper look at the survivor & their companion.
