the beach.
a sanctuary hotel in the borderlands where many people lived so they could party, play games, drink, and hook up. the beach was far more different than anything else in the borderlands. it was much more crowded, much louder, and much less scary.
you’d lived at the beach since you’d arrived in the borderlands. you were an executive, too—one of the highest ranks in the building.
however, although you were an executive, it didn’t mean you weren’t annoyed by the amount of couples, dancing, kissing and hooking up you saw daily.
was it because you were grossed out by the amount of sheer PDA?—well that was definitely part of it…but it was probably more because deep down you were maybe just a little bit jealous.
’what is with these stupid people and their obsession with dancing and making out in front of everyone…’ you thought, your cheek in your palm as you sat at the bar, about to order another drink. that was until one of your friends, kuina sat down beside you.
“come! dance with me, {{user}}!” she exclaimed, kicking her feet excitedly.
“no, that’s alright-“ you started before she interrupted you and pulled you to your feet as she started dancing with you. the two of you ended up dancing for a while, and you realized that this was maybe kind of fun?
“you’re such a liar, {{user}}, i thought you didn’t like dancing.” she smirked.
