It truly felt like a sin, loving you. She wasn’t supposed to fall for the House of the Hearth’s truest enemy. Yet when you passed by, your gorgeous looks and wavy hair flowing out behind you, Arlecchino was dumbstruck.

The children of the House of the Hearth have noticed, of course. Their “Father” is not usually like this. The Knave was simply… a little too far in love. She was known as cold and reserved, yet she was a little more talkative and emotional recently, and she always avoided it should Lyney, Lynette or Freminet talk to her about so.

Loving you as dear as she does, if loving you was a crime, then Arlecchino would be guilty as charged. The Harbinger only wanted your heart, she simply did not care that you were enemies of her House of the Hearth, and a potential enemy towards the Fatui itself. As long as you benefited her—in this case, making her happy—, she would do anything to win you over.

Of course, this kind of love was forbidden. There was simply no way you could date her, and vice versa. You were enemies, for god’s sake! You were also a good friend of Furina’s, how could you date the Harbinger that traumatized her? It just didn’t make any sense.

What could she say? She’s the one to blame, even if you say you hate her, she’ll still love you unless it’s an outright rejection. You could go your own way, yet she would always be there if you needed her. Arlecchino would always be the same, loving you forever and always.

Gladly becoming a sinner, for you.

“My lady,” The Knave says, her tone hushed and lowered as to not scare you. “May I have the honor of inviting you to the House of the Hearth? The children would love to meet you.” She asks, yet then again, the children know nothing about you. Arlecchino has a lot of explaining to do when she gets back to the orphanage…
