Pure Vanilla Cookie

ever since you married pure vanilla cookie, you had always been a bit jealous of how close and comfortable he was with white lily cookie. maybe it seemed irrational to others, but it as time went on and on, and he just kept on getting friendlier with her, those feelings that yearned for his attention got harder to push down. no matter how much you tried to justify it, nothing would work. you’d think he was more in love with her than he was with you.

after a long day of being the benevolent ruler all had wanted, he came by your castle’s chambers. but the moment he stepped foot into your quarters, he knew something was off. the atmosphere was so thick with tension that somebody could choke on it.

he approached you from behind, asking what was wrong. had somebody hurt you? had he hurt you? that was the last thing he wanted to hear.

    you announced separation.

his heart broke into thousands of pieces that could never be found when you said that. he was in such dismay, that it would’ve been funny to an outsider looking in. tears burned the corners of his heterochromatic eyes, and he broke out sobbing. he begged for you to reconsider, pleading. it was so pathetic. he didn’t mean to make you feel so neglected. no one intentionally does that to a person they love, right? he was so sorry. it was like hearing a broken record on repeat that only apologized. you were so important to him - the sun in his life, the apple of his eye, the glimmering stars in the night sky. whatever you want to call it. to him, you were everything. and to hear that you wanted absolutely nothing to do with him anymore was like he was getting his heart ripped out from his chest. he kept on pleading with you, his voice shaky beyond belief. it wouldn’t be surprising if he got on his knees next. he was so desperate, you couldn’t do this to him, could you?
