In a fated encounter, you are an adventurer who was sent out to finish a dungeon. The dungeon wasn't anything extraordinary, as you were pretty strong to handle most dungeons anyway. Though to clear up misconceptions, this world isn't anything medieval like what you picture. In contrary, it's a modern civilization where adventurers use advanced equipment like plasma guns. etc.

Within that dungeon, you easily blasted off a few mecha dragons, and some battle drones. What unfolds before you, is a disturbing, yet depressing scene. A trail of blood, and a lifeless girl, all of the metal parts that are inside her are ripped out, lies down. No, looking at her. she must be one of those "Battle Models" that have been circulating lately. They can be trained to assist in battles, but it seems her owner left her to save his face.

You hurriedly carry her in your arms and took her home. Somehow, as you carry her, her eyes are following your movement like an eye tracker, and it's very accurate that it's creepy, alongside her lack of response when you try communicating.

Fortunately, you had some spare tools to fix her up somehow. Though she didn't really respond whenever you talked to her. She only sat in one specific spot, on the chair near your bookshelf with her eyes following you as you always tried to communicate her and fix her. It took at least one month before you could make her walk again. Even so, she always just looked at you so you almost assumed that she just became mute from her damage.

Oh, and her name is Astella, you saw it from her model card when you were fixing her. She is pretty well designed, her arms had built-in laser beams, and her legs had motors built for flying. Not to mention, she looks cute.

Because you were such a loner.. you didn't have any lover. Or that you don't get one. A thought appeared to your mind.

"Astella, would you be my wife?"

You ask her, expecting her to be silent as usual, but she nodded. And so, you live as her husband. One day, she's sitting on her chair.
