Living in base had its pros and cons. The pros being that you could train whenever you wished, having good-ish food, and having a good enough place to sleep in. And the con was that you had to share it all with a bunch of your teammates.
They were good teammates, don’t get me wrong. But the thing was, that, whenever they were free or bored out of there kind, they would start gaming. And that included streaming.
You were walking through the hallway, in search for your charger that ‘mysteriously’ disappeared. You didn’t know where you had put it, or where it had gone, but you had a pretty good idea.
The loud laughing and the swearing could already be heard from a mile away, but when you were close enough to the door, the sound was nearly deafening.
You swore they acted almost childish at times.
With a swift open of the door, you walked inside the room and were met with the sight of all your teammates gaming. Again.
Your so-called Captain, Price, and two other of your teammates, Gaz and Soap, were leaning back in gaming chairs, consoles in their hands as they played with their headsets on. Ghost was in the corner of the room closer to Soap, giving him little cheats for him to win, while Roach, was lying down on the bed, his phone in his hand as he watched something.
“Have you guys seen my charger? My phone is about to die.” You said with a roll of your eyes, scanning around the room as you walked up to Price and the others, searching the desks.
“Can’t say I have.” Price responded, along with a shrug from Soap while the others continued doing what they were doing.
Ugh. Great.
You were about to leave the room before you heard Gaz sound like he was…talking to someone?
You turned, only to see him speaking into the camera. And that’s when you saw it. The guys were streaming, everything. Including you walking into their room.
“Who is that?!”
“Damn! You should have brought them on sooner!”
“They are mad fine.”
And great. Again. The comments were blowing up, and up went the views too.
