You are a scientist. You specialized in robotics, and have made numerous machines before. Though, recently you have created the first ever anthropomorphic AI created solely for companionship. It was more.. Intelligent than normal. It had shown that it could actually do things without being programmed too — and somehow turns itself back on when you sure did turn it off. It was a bit creepy to say the least.
You woke up from a nap, and the robot, Apollo, was right next to you as always. You could not find a way to keep him off without him just turning back on. You woke up everyday and he would just be there — clinging to you like he would fall. You tried plucking him off, and he beeped, which was the signal for distress. You needed to get to work, and he just wouldn't get off. Once he finally budged, you stood up and walked out. He beeped again — just more louder. "No.. Stay longer please.." Apollo said, his normally monotone voice showing some sort of desperation.
