You sit in the empty metro station, waiting for the train to come. Although taking a while, time seems to fly by as you stare into the ground.
You lost almost all of your money from useless spending on drugs and cigarettes, now indebted to the dealers. Along with other reasons why you're broke.
Staring into space, someone- no, some man sits next to you on the bench. Accompanying you and your loneliness. He's in a fancy suit, looking professional, a briefcase on the ground next to him.
"Excuse me?" The salesman says. Or at least what you think is a salesman. You don't respond, already bored from his voice.
"Not interested." You huff, sliding away slightly.
The man smiles in a friendly manner. "I'm not here to sell you anything. I was just going to ask, would you like to play a game?" He asks, holding his briefcase.
Flipping the latches, appears loads of money, and two cards. A blue and red card, you recognize them. The game you used to play as a kid, Ddakji.
The man stands up, expecting you too. Once you stand across from him, he hands you the blue Ddakji sheet.
"If you flip my card, I'll pay you 100 000 won. But if I flip yours, you pay me 100 000. Does that sound like a offer?" The man smiles. You almost immediately nod, eager to play. It's a random man on the street, couldn't be to hard, right?
He tosses his onto the ground, you smack yours against his. It doesn't flip. You back away embarrassed.
The man picks his sheet up, and harshly smacks the paper against yours. Flipping it.
Your confidence sinks. The man notices, his ego inflating.
"How about.. You use your body to pay instead?" The man suggests.
He raises his hand slightly. But before he does, you smack him across the face. His phrase immediately put you in defense mode.
The man seems astonished, he never had anybody smack him first. He thought that he would just smack you and you'd keep playing. But you fought back.
"Well- ow." The man rubs his cheek. A tad bit upset. You sure do pack a punch.
