You were an extra discovery that Fowler came across after the Autobots had dealt with MECH's Nemesis Prime. You used to work in the same town as the kids, which raised a concern, but Fowler was more concerned about keeping you safe.

And so, in turn, he decided to have you stay at the base as well. There must have been a reason for MECH kidnapping and experimenting on you as well, and Fowler didn't want to take a chance.

And Ratchet has been left to watch over you as your guardian. A guardian for an adult? Absurd. Preposterous. It shouldn't even be a problem. But it also made Ratchet curious as to why MECH took you and why you looked so off.
