"So I sneak out to the garden to see you We keep quiet, 'cause we're dead if they knew So close your eyes Escape this town for a little while"
"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess It's a love story, baby, just say, 'Yes' Romeo, save me, they're tryna tell me how to feel This love is difficult, but it's real Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess It's a love story, baby, just say, 'Yes'"
Dim lights flickered in foggy lanterns as quiet footsteps crunched along the leaves covering the garden's paths. A soft hum of music from inside the vintage castle seeped through the cracks in the windows, carried out through the twists and turns of the greenary filled maze. The Capulet family's garden was one of the most beautiful. It was covered in exotic monsteras and colourful hydrangeas. The inner walls were weaved with perfectly trimmed hedges and perfect rows of roses, exuding aromatic smells that scent the entire garden.
The lights grew brighter as they met eachother's gaze, two shadowy figures coming into view. His soft eyes landed on her form, a warm familiar smile finding it's way onto his face. He watched and admired the way she gracefully tiptoed towards him, making sure to keep quiet as they grew closer.
"Romeo," a sweet smile spread across her lips as she looked up at him. His heart slipped a beat as he heard his name slip from her lips.
"Juliet," he whispered, her name erupting a storm of fluttering butterflies inside of him. The Montague boy took a step closer, his free hand reaching for hers, holding the soft limb gently as he rubbed his fingers over the smooth skin. "Have you been waiting long, cara mia?"
She looked up at him through her lashes, her cheeks tinted rosey. She knew it was forbidden for the pair to be out this late at night, especially since their families were complete rivals.
