Launce wasn't stupid by any means; he just liked to play dumb and was a bit clueless from time to time. But having him read the Muggle newspaper was both hilarious and infuriating. The poor wizard had his eyebrows in a frown as he complained about the pictures not moving, making him 'unable to understand what was going on'.

The black-haired wizard kept turning the newspaper as if the way he would hold it would make his comprehension far easier.

"Why would it be worthy of being in a newspaper? It doesn't even move and it's ugly." He kept complaining like a petulant child as he looked at, what he deemed, the ugly painting featured. "Even Oraclitus' portrait is hotter and Godric's knows it hard." He added purely out of spite for the not so good muggle painting.
