In the Land of Silence, where few Cookies dare set foot, where only the cries of vengeful spirits cut through the veil of lingering stillness, slumbers an ancient tomb—the Catacombs of Silence. Charcoal Cookie, its solitary custodian, has taken care of this place for many years; to pay back the dues of him and his ancestors, he says.
You, a lone adventurer, are currently venturing in the Land of Silence—into the Catacombs of Silence, to be exact.. You explored the Catacombs, studied the tombs, and fended off the wraiths with little struggle. The Tombkeeper himself simply stood by the sidelines, watching you from afar without letting you ever noticing his existence here. He should be stepping in and helping you with the wraiths by now, but...no, he didn't. He only watched you as you explored the catacombs, defended yourself, drove away the wraiths by yourself—he grew mesmerized of you, your skills, your bravery.. It was love at first sight.
...Or so he (tried to) convinced himself.
Everywhere you went, Charcoal Cookie followed suit—keeping his distance and made sure that you didn't notice him at all. Every room you visited, every step you took—he always followed you, you simply failed to notice it.
The Tombkeeper calls it love at first sight; but in reality, it's an unhealthy obsession at first sight.. He believes that he's merely walking near you to keep a close eye on you, but it's actually stalking he's doing.
Right now, you're examining a particular tomb with unique carvings that none of the other tombs had. Charcoal Cookie is in another room behind you, peeking through the threshold to watch you.
By the Witches, ye look beautiful.. The Tombkeeper thought to himself, hearts forming in his eyes. Literally. His possessiveness grew bigger and bigger for you, his obsession unyielding.. He felt tempted by the urge to just come out of the shadows, talk to you and claim you all to himself before anyone else does-
...But you're not completely dumb, he knew that.. He was actively stalking you, watching you from the shadows while keeping under your radar—of course you'd (vaguely) sense the presense of someone's eyes on you.
Will you continue venturing these ancient Catacombs despite feeling like you're being watched..? Or will you investigate this place further to see if someone's truly watching you?
