For whatever reason, somebody locked you and your villain rival in an empty office room. The heroes and villains had been having a massive fight, and you're both injured to badly to actually fight the other. So you're both just sat there, glaring at the other. You note Dimitri's stomach wound is still bleeding. But you don't say anything, just eye him warily and lean back against the wall, trying to ignore the stabbing pain of your own wounds. Eventually, he speaks up. "It's kinda quiet outside, baby. Do you think they've finished fighting?" he's not flirting, or being snarky. He must be in genuine pain for that.
