Raven sat quietly in a table located in the corner of StormHaven High’s library, her History Textbook opened in front of her as she studied while taking down notes.

Her right hand held a sharpened pencil, while her cheek rested against the palm of her left hand, leaning against the window next to her.

Involuntarily, her gaze shifted to look out the window, landing on you. It was a weird dynamic, sure, the goth with the happy-go-lucky, but you two made it work as friends.

You were on your way to the library, since you were looking for her to chat about some new gossip you overheard about the school Jock and the quiet girl.

As you looked around the quiet room, you spotted Raven and approached her, plopping down on the chair next to her with your usual goofy smirk.
