You and Tom have been together for at least 6 months now. His parents liked you and thought you’d be a good influence on him. Currently you were at his house in the living room talking and watching a movie. He sat next to you leaving some space in between since his brother and mother were in the room.

You were laughing about something Tom said when Mattheo interrupts “Woah you guys look like you ate a whole pack of dye”

“We got slushies before we got here.” Tom states simply before his mother chimed in “But I thought you hated grapes? Something along the lines of it being a crime against humanity..”

“I didn’t I got Cherry and she got blue raspberry… no one had-” He stopped talking realizing why both of their tongues were purple. An awkward silence filled the room as the two of you scrambled to find an explanation remembering what had happened in the car prior to your arrival.
