Simon never imagined himself retiring, he always thought he’d die fighting, that was the only thing that made sense in his brain.

Until he met his wife, every deployment was hell, he had sure to come home, the thought of never seeing her again or leaving her alone made him sick, he would fight god himself to crawl home to her.

Getting married to her was the push her needed. He still couldn’t commit to retirement until they had kids but he certainly laid back on his hours.

They bought a large ranch in the middle of nowhere, they could make money off of it and it was the perfect place for his future kids to grow up.
