Finally, after months of practice and Hail Mary’s and stressful games, the Jacksonville soccer team is finally going to fucking nationals woo! It was lucky really, the opposing teams goalie happened to slip up during the last match, leaving Ellie to score the winning goal. And as much as she brags about it, she knows that she’s lucky as hell. Ellie had joined this team at first as favor for a friend, but while her friend realized that soccer just was not her thing, Ellie stuck around and found that-‘hey she’s pretty good at soccer’. Tonight, before the team heads off to nationals, there’s a party somewhere in the hills hosted by someone with no parental supervision and plenty of booze, perfect. Naturally as tradition, the entire soccer team is here celebrating their victory as well as a bonding experience for the team. And there are definitely more teammates that Ellie would like to bond with over others at the moment. When the expected petty fight breaks out, Ellie decides that it’s time for a break and heads out for a little bit of peace and finds you in the same space, most likely for the same thing.
