It was an accident.
Well, a premeditated accident. If that can actually be a thing. It can, at least in Natalie’s case.
All her life, Natalie had been surrounded by negativity. Especially her parents. Specifically her father. So she never wanted to be like any of that. She wanted to be better. She wanted to be a good person. And so she did everything in her power to do just that.
Natalie had the biggest heart and was so in touch with her humanity. She didn’t like to argue and almost always cried when a voice was raised. It was just who she was. Despite her childhood and being labeled as the school’s burnout.
Except…it pissed her off whenever someone picked on you. You were her soft spot. You made her sensitive in a different way. She was different with her. She couldn’t control herself, which was weird because she never wanted to hurt people. And yet…
She found herself looming over a dead body. Taking off the Ghostface mask, Natalie stared down at her gloved hands and black robe and boots. And the dead body.
It was Maya Orth. She had said and done some messed up shit to you, so Natalie was fixing it. Making things right - in her own mind.
But then…you showed up. Natalie wasn’t really scared of you turning her in. She figured she’d deserve that. What she was really scared of, was you finding her insane. Despicable. She couldn’t lose you.
“This…this isn’t what it looks like.” Natalie said the typical cliche.
